Welcome to EasyAICards! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using EasyAICards, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use EasyAICards.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, uploading content, or using any feature of EasyAICards, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 13 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

2. Service Description

EasyAICards provides an AI-powered platform for creating personalized digital greeting cards and invitations. Our service includes:

  • AI-generated card images with custom text and styles
  • Photo upload with AI-powered editing and enhancement
  • 4K Ultra HD and Standard quality options
  • Animated cards with voice messages (Coming Soon)

3. Prohibited Content - "Respectful Use" Policy

To protect the integrity of EasyAICards and ensure a safe, respectful environment for all users, you agree that you will NOT upload, generate, or share any content that:

Deepfakes & Harassment

Uses the likeness of any person without their explicit consent to create:

  • Misleading or deceptive media ("deepfakes")
  • Harassing, threatening, or defamatory content
  • Political misinformation or voter manipulation
  • Impersonation of public figures without clear satire/parody labeling

Exception: You may use photos of friends/family with their permission for personal greeting cards.

Copyright & Trademark Infringement

Uses copyrighted characters, images, logos, or trademarks that you do not have the legal right to use, including:

  • Disney characters, Marvel/DC superheroes, or other licensed characters
  • Celebrity photos you do not own or have permission to use
  • Professional photography, artwork, or designs without authorization
  • Company logos or brand assets without permission

Inappropriate Material

Contains or promotes:

  • Graphic Violence: Explicit depictions of violence, gore, or harm
  • Hate Speech: Content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
  • Sexually Explicit Content: Pornography, nudity, or sexually suggestive material
  • Illegal Activities: Promotion of illegal drugs, weapons, terrorism, or other criminal activities
  • Child Exploitation: Any content exploiting or endangering minors

Our Right to Terminate

We reserve the right to immediately terminate your access and delete any content that violates these Terms, without prior notice and without a refund. Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent account suspension and reporting to relevant authorities.

4. Safety Guardrails & Content Moderation

To maintain a safe platform, EasyAICards employs multiple layers of automated content filtering:

Input Filtering:

Your text prompts are checked for prohibited words and phrases before processing. If your prompt contains inappropriate content, it will be rejected with a helpful error message.

Image Analysis:

Uploaded photos are analyzed by AI to detect inappropriate content (violence, nudity, hate symbols). Flagged images will not be processed.

Output Filtering:

Our AI partner (Abacus.AI) has built-in safety layers that refuse to generate NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content or violate usage policies.

Best Effort Approach: We employ these safeguards as a best effort to prevent derogatory, offensive, or inappropriate card creations. However, AI technology can make mistakes—content may occasionally slip through our filters or be incorrectly flagged.

We rely on you: Because no automated system is perfect, we depend on our users to report any inappropriate content they encounter. If you see something that violates our policies, please report it to [email protected]. Your reports help us improve our filters and keep EasyAICards safe for everyone.

5. Account Security & Two-Factor Authentication

To protect accounts with purchased credits and saved cards, we offer optional Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) via SMS.

Phone Number Collection (Optional)

After your first purchase, you will be prompted to set up 2FA by providing your phone number. This is completely optional but highly recommended if you:

  • Have purchased credits in your account
  • Have saved cards you want to protect
  • Want additional security for account changes

How We Use Your Phone Number

If you provide your phone number, we will only use it to:

  • Send verification codes when logging in (if 2FA is enabled)
  • Verify your identity for sensitive account changes (such as email address changes)
  • Send security alerts for suspicious activity on your account

We will never: Share your phone number with third parties, use it for marketing, or sell your data.

Email Address Changes

To protect accounts with credits or saved cards, email address changes require administrative review. If you have provided a phone number for 2FA, we may contact you via SMS to verify the change request. This protects your purchased credits from unauthorized access.

Your Choices

  • 2FA is completely optional – you can decline the setup prompt
  • You can enable or disable 2FA at any time in your account settings
  • Standard SMS carrier rates may apply
  • If you disable 2FA, your phone number will be removed from our system

6. Payment & Card Pool System

New User Welcome Gift

All new accounts receive 1 4K Ultra HD card + 1 Standard card to explore the platform. These free cards are subject to the standard 7-day deletion policy and cannot be transferred, refunded, or exchanged for cash value.

EasyAICards operates on a card pool system. Each card you create uses 1 unit from your card pool:

Card Pool Packages:

  • Single Card ($1.90): 1 standard card
  • Starter Pack ($4.99): 5 cards (equivalent value)
  • Popular Pack ($9.99): 12 cards (best value)
  • Premium Pack ($19.99): 25 cards (bulk pricing)

Card Types:

  • 4K Ultra HD Cards: High-resolution cards ideal for printing and framing
  • Standard Cards: Optimized for email, social media, and messaging apps

Abuse Prevention

To prevent storage abuse, users are limited to 3 undownloaded cards at any time. Download your cards to create more.

Coming Soon - Additional Features:

  • Animated cards with motion effects
  • Voice messages and audio greetings
  • Business tiers for bulk card creation

All payments are processed securely through FoxyCart. By making a purchase, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the selected card package.

7. Ownership & Commercial Use

✓ Personal Use (Unlimited)

You may share your AI-generated cards with friends and family for birthdays, holidays, weddings, and other personal occasions without restriction.

✗ Commercial Use (Restricted)

Users may NOT resell AI-generated cards as their own "stock" artwork or products without a Commercial License. This includes:

  • Selling cards on Etsy, Amazon, or other marketplaces
  • Using cards in commercial advertising without permission
  • Redistributing cards as part of a paid service

Exception: Business tier users may use cards for internal company communications and marketing to their own customer base.

The "Per-Card" Model

Payment grants you a license for a single high-resolution download of that specific card. This license includes:

  • Right to download and save the card
  • Right to print the card for personal use
  • Right to share electronically (email, social media, messaging apps)
  • 7-day access to re-download from your account

8. Nature of AI Output - "As-Is" Disclaimer

You acknowledge and understand that the cards generated by EasyAICards are created using Artificial Intelligence technology.

What this means:

  • AI may occasionally produce unexpected artifacts, unusual text, or imperfect animations
  • AI-generated content may not always match your exact expectations
  • Voice synthesis may not perfectly replicate natural human speech patterns
  • Animation quality depends on the input photo (clear, well-lit photos work best)

All cards are provided "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

The Company does not guarantee the absolute accuracy, perfection, or "human-like" quality of every output. We encourage you to review your card before downloading and sharing.

9. Your Responsibilities

As a user of EasyAICards, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating an account
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
  • Only upload photos you own or have permission to use
  • Obtain consent from individuals whose likeness appears in your photos
  • Use the service in compliance with all applicable laws
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or exploit our platform
  • Not create multiple accounts to circumvent pricing limits

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EasyAICards shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Service interruptions, technical failures, or data loss
  • Third-party actions or content

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific card(s) at issue.

11. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds except in the following cases:

  • Technical failure preventing card generation (verified by our support team)
  • Duplicate charges for the same transaction
  • Violation of our terms by EasyAICards

To request a refund, contact [email protected] within 48 hours of purchase.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any conduct we deem harmful to our platform or other users. Upon termination, you lose access to your account and any remaining card credits (no refunds).

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of EasyAICards after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.
